Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy explains the standards that apply when you use services provided by Walk-In Websites, including website design, hosting, Website Care and related digital services. It forms part of our Website Design & Digital Services Agreement.

Lawful Use

You must use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with all applicable Australian laws and regulations.

Prohibited Activities

You must not use our services to:

  • publish unlawful, fraudulent or misleading material
  • infringe copyright, trade marks or other intellectual property rights
  • distribute malware, ransomware or malicious code
  • send spam or operate phishing campaigns
  • promote violence, hatred or unlawful discrimination
  • publish defamatory, obscene or offensive content contrary to law
  • interfere with the security or operation of our systems or third-party infrastructure

Client Content

You are solely responsible for all content supplied to or published through your website. You warrant that you own or are licensed to use all text, images, videos, logos and other materials you provide.

Website Hosting

Where Walk-In Websites provides hosting or Website Care services, you must not use the service in a way that unreasonably impacts performance, security or availability for other customers.

Monitoring

We may investigate suspected breaches of this Policy and cooperate with law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required by law.

Suspension

We may suspend or terminate services immediately if we reasonably believe this Policy has been breached, where necessary to protect our business, customers or third-party providers, or where required by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Walk-In Websites is not liable for loss arising from suspension or termination resulting from a breach of this Policy. Nothing in this Policy excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The latest version will be published on our website.
